The Design
I'm so happy that I can finally present the tablecloth that I designed a while ago. My intention was to create something that was completely different from the peacock-inspired designs I usually make so I thought let's step out of my comfort zone and make something big :-) Well, it's turned out quite large (approx. diameter of 124cm/50in) but it still consists of small motifs so in that sense it's not so very different from what I'm used to doing. I just love designing little motifs. The tablecloth consists of 91 circles that are joined together as you go. You can first make all 91 motifs except for the last round and then lay everything out to join in the final round.

The Kit
I used 24 different Maxi Sweet Treat (formally Bonbon) colours randomly. It's really nice to mix and match so many colours. This means of course that the kit also has 24 little 25g-balls! But that's not all. It contains a beautifully printed booklet with the pattern plus a bonus pattern for matching coasters to use up the leftover yarn. You'll have about a 100g left over from a variety of colours so that's enough for a nice stack of coasters (they would also make lovely presents).
As a little extra, there are 5 tablecloth weights in the kit too to prevent the summer breeze from blowing your tablecloth into any cakes or tea you're having.

Colourways
The kit comes in two different colourways: Bright and Pastel. Below you'll find pictures of both. The Bright colours makes for a very happy and modern tablecloth whereas the Pastel colours have a more vintage feel with just enough contrast for a modern twist.
