Rows 8-9 Rep Row 2.
Continue in pattern, repeating Rows 4-9 until desired length (I used up 1 Whirl yarn cake and continued with the Whirlette yarn cake until that was finished too). Shawl as shown measures approx. 190cm after blocking, which is a total of 201 rows excluding the final row (see instructions below).
End with Row 9 for a nice finish on final row. Fasten off.
Final row Rejoin yarn at beginning of previous row with slst in top of first dc, slst in next dc, ch4, slst in third dc of next 4dc-group, *ch3, 1dc in sc, ch3, slst in second dc of next 4dc-group, ch4, slst in third dc of next 4dc-group; rep from * to end, slst in final dc of same 4dc-group, fasten off and weave in all ends.
Blocking
To get the most beautiful result, the shawl needs blocking. Soak in lukewarm water, gently squeeze water out or roll it in dry towel to remove excess moisture. Pin out to finished measurements and let dry naturally.
