I've designed this pouch in such a way that you can make it in any size you want. A small size for a small gift or a large size for a different purpose altogether. What about using a larger one as a project pouch?
The yarn I used is Scheepjes Bamboo Soft, a gorgeously soft yarn that creates a perfect drape. You can read more about the yarn in this blog post or scroll down to see all the rich colours available. There are 17 colours to choose from and they're all perfect for peacock feathers.
To embellish it, I've used my first ever free crochet design: the French Mini Peacock Feather. Mini because it's tiny (obviously) and French because I designed it while visiting my friends in France. You can find the pattern for the feathers here. I will publish the pattern for the pouch here on my blog next week. For now I'll show you some photos!
This blue pouch is medium sized: 18 x 21cm (lying flat). Perfect for giving lovely craft gifts like the Cohana tape measure and crochet hooks stand in the photo. The purple and yellow pouches are small sized: 13 x 17cm (lying flat).
I've also designed a large pouch - 27 x 43cm lying flat - suitable for carrying or storing a WIP.
